Jeff Weaver

Jeff Weaver develops top national junior tennis players as a USPTA P-1 certified professional with over twenty-five years of experience in the Atlanta area. He brings performance-minded strategy to the courts and provides players with a unique learning environment. Together with his staff, Jeff offers years of combined tennis expertise, successful management, and exceptional customer service.

Jeff played for the University of West Georgia while earning a Management Degree, continuing his career afterward by serving as Head Professional at Horseshoe Bend Country Club. He founded ACE Tennis Academy in 1994, and it quickly became the largest tennis academy in the country. The institution encompasses seven sites in four states with more than 500 competitive juniors and 30 coaches. ACE has produced eight number one players in the country under Jeff’s leadership.

Jeff currently manages the Fields Club in Peachtree Corners, one of Atlanta’s most extensive neighborhood club tennis facilities. ACE Tennis Academy has called the Fields Club home since 2005.

Coach

Federico Kuiper

Federico Kuiper is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is graduating in Finance from the University of North Georgia, where he is a member of the Men’s Tennis Team, which reached number seven in the NCAA DII in 2018. Federico is very passionate about coaching and has been a part of numerous leadership and personal development courses. He has also traveled the world playing tennis tournaments and loves the game. 

 

Federico ranked among the top ten players in the country from U14s to U18s, and was considered one of the best 30 players in South America from U14s to U16s. He competed in multiple Futures, reaching the last rounds of qualifying. During his summers in college, he coached junior players, including two top 500 ITF players and a player ranked third in the South (United States). He was also a full-time coach at Winward Lake Club from May 2021 to September 2021, where he worked with all ages and levels, providing group, individual, and hitting lessons. 

Adult and Junior Coach

Charlie Zeigler

 Charlie Zeigler played four years of tennis at Lees McRae College on a team that finished within the top 20 in the country. He has since trained national, southern, and state-level juniors at three junior tennis academies, including IMG (Nick Bollettieri), Tennis Academy of the South, and ACE Tennis Academy. He also worked as the Head Professional at the Buckhead Towne Club before serving as Head Professional and then Director of Tennis at the Racquet Club of the South for six years.

Charlie later established and managed his own tennis program in Alpharetta at the Ridge Swim and Tennis, working with students of all stages of tennis development. In 2012, Charlie returned to ACE Academy as Director of Junior Development for the Advanced, Competitive, and Futures Academy. He is excited to be on the ACE Academy coaching staff, which he believes to be the best group of tennis instructors in Atlanta!

Director of Tennis

Taylor Buchholz

 

Taylor, a certified USPTA Elite Professional, is the Director of Tennis at Medlock Bridge. Taylor is a graduate of the Methodist University Professional Tennis Management program in Fayetteville, NC and holds a B.S degree in Business Administration. He played NCAA Division III scholarship tennis at Methodist University, playing in the #1 singles slot and setting a school record for Most Singles Wins, Second Most Doubles Wins, and Most Overall Wins, while earning the NCAA DIII Scholar Athlete designation. His coaching experience includes teaching at Sea Colony Resort, DE, Greenwich Country Club, CT, Trump National Country Club, NY and was the former Head Professional at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. As a high school player, Taylor was named as a two-time “Super Six” All Gwinnett County Team and is in the Hall of Fame at North Gwinnett High School.

Coach

Shannon Bettiol

Shannon Bettiol, a certified ACE Professional, grew up locally training at ACE with Jeff as her private coach. She was one of the top juniors in the country. She went on to graduate from Western Carolina University with a Sports Management Degree. In college, she played singles and doubles all four years. 


Shannon has since worked as a Summer Tennis Instructor at ACE Tennis Academy and a Director of Kids Academy Medlock Bridge Swim and Tennis. She currently is the Director of ACE Advanced Academy and the Director of Adult Programming at Fields Club Swim and Tennis.

Coach

Max Mancini

Max Mancini, a certified USPTA and ACE Professional, graduated from the Methodist University Professional Tennis Management program in Fayetteville, North Carolina with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. At Methodist University, he played in the #4 singles slot while earning the NCAA DIII Scholar Athlete designation. 

Since then, Max worked several paid internships, then became the Head Professional at Mar-a-Lago in 2015, followed by working as the Director of Tennis at Trump National Westchester and Trump National Jupiter from 2016-2020. He now serves as the Director of Tennis at Medlock Bridge Swim and Tennis.
